Hollie Flack, DDS FAGD leads the team here at The Brookside Dentist. She has been in private practice for the last decade, serving the greater Kansas City area.
Beyond her commitment to provide the best in quality dentistry, Dr. Flack values growth and education. She’s involved in several dental organizations and attends continuing education classes to stay on top of the latest trends and advancements in dentistry. In 2020, she was awarded her Fellowship in the Academy in General Dentistry (FAGD), a recognition earned by completing over 500 hours of continuing education and passing an extensive examination that encompasses all aspects of general dentistry. Only six percent of dentists are Fellows in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Flack enjoys many passions outside the office, as well. She and her husband have two children, who keep them both very busy. As a family, they enjoy staying active, going to musicals, cooking, traveling and all things local to Kansas City. 1920
The Brookside Building is constructed and opened.
1934
Our founding dentist, Dr. Vance Hodge, opens his dental office in the exact same location we’re in today. At a time when most dentists were in office buildings downtown, everyone told him he was "going too far south".
1976
Vance’s son, Dr. Jay Hodge, joins the practice and the father-son duo work together for 11 years.
1987
Dr. Hodge retires, and Dr. Jay takes the reins.
2019
Dr. Jay Hodge passes the torch to Dr. Hollie Flack, and she continues the Hodge’s legacy of excellent dental care as The Brookside Dentist.
